Our guys over at Whyme have set us off with these shots of their Spring 2012 drop featuring new hoodies, tees & beanies as well as their first ever cut & sew piece in the form of green corduroy shirt with a matching tartan lining. In my opinion this is their best drop yet so expect a lot more to come…

Cassette Playa’s collection have always been a staple for me, just wearing Carri’s garms can sometimes spur a creative process…it’s crazy. Now for a few words from Hypebeast;
“New from Paris come visual images of Cassette Playa’s 2012 fall/winter collection in the form of the “K_A_R_M_A_G_E_D_D_O_N” Video. Always bright and colorful, influenced by urban culture and inflected with a little bit of ’80s flair, the collection includes brand mainstays such as graphic-printed tees and heavily-patterned outerwear. Increasing their range of products, however, Cassette Playa has also transferred their trademark all-over screen-prints to a variety of products as evidenced by the visual exploration.”

Hopefully you guys peep’d the previous post on Starcow’s rendition of the Reebok Workout for their 25th anniversary, but this time we have a few snaps of London based boutique Foot Patrol’s attempt which if you run it by me was successful indeed. Here are a few words from the people themselves;
“Inspiration for our interpretation of the Reebok Workout 25th anniversary shoe comes essentially from London and its almost perpetual state of grey–the generally dull and cloudy weather and concrete surroundings. This harsh environment that we call home enlightened by the occasional blast of warm sunshine. Heavy brushed suede and creamy gum sole fitting our outlook of taking the rough with the smooth. Our personal workout is all about good times! Friends, food, drink & good music is all we need.”

Josh Osho & Shadez The Misfit - Hey Ya (Take Two Ep.1)
Musician Josh Osho has a new web series entitled Take Two consisting of 10 episodes which see’s him collaborating with various artists who can bring their own twist to popular songs. The first episode of the series shows Shadez The Misfit’s rendition over an acoustic cover by Josh Osho of Outkasts hit ‘Hey Ya’ at the creative center that is G-Shock East. Josh & Shadez definately went in on this cover, hope to see the same quality of music produced throughout the series & with some more dope artists from London. Keep it locked on Josh’s YouTube channel for the latest updates.
