With summer approaching, Nike are on hand with 11 clean colourways of the people’s growing favourite, Flyknit Lunar+
I see a colourways reminiscent of the Air Mags, South Beach 8s + Neon OGs that will be releasing with the rest of the collection in a few months…

Fortunately we have both a HTM Flyknit Trainer+ as well as a Special Edition Flyknit Racer both utilising the multi-coloured weave aesthetic that made the initial HTM drop so…special.
Both have opted for a limited Nike Stadium release at either Nike Stadium Milano on the 13th April or at 1948, London on 14th April.

I’ve wanted these since there initial sighting, before any details were confirmed or date set. Finally, thanks in part to Nylon Guys we know that they’re a collaboration between Nike SB + Three Squares Studio’s founder, Jordan Blackmore.

If this year’s calendar wasn’t swaying in favour of the infamous VIII silhouette enough (with the marked re-release of the Aquas), this team inspired colourway is certified.

Jordan Brand have stuck with one of my preferred silhouettes for this enigmatic colourway dubbed, Green Glow. Featuring a grey nubuck + plastic upper paired with black mesh + “glow in the dark” accents (outsole, eyelets + tongue) has me anticipating October for it’s release.
But…with a 160€ price point, JB are making many think twice.

Dude’s affection was always true + at best has been reciprocated by the other side with Vans. Who have finally reached out to collaborate on possibly one of Ace’s favoured silhouettes, the Old Skool. No further details on this release but as we all know too well, everything is revealed in due time.

I haven’t seen one of these animated visuals from Nike since Ben Schaffer broke down the ‘Hyperfuse’ complex…anyway, this time it’s about reinventing classics. Running classics to be precise.

Courtesy of Complex, Jordan/Nike drops a select set of images on their Oregon Ducks pack. One for the eyes + not your personal collection unless you study at the university or have connects on deck. If I could have one pair it would have to be the IVs, easy!

After steadily reaching the status of ‘staple’ in many cities, Nike leave us with another solid colourway for the solid silhouette of the AM1. Pimento suede upper alongside a contrasting white swoosh + a calm black sole make these a must.
The rumour is a early 2013 release (Jan 2013) so keep it locked for an official date.

A full reveal of Brooklyn Projects collaboration with Nike SB has dropped + I’m down, enough said. According to their post, this QS will only release at the BP store but Lord knows I’m hoping it’s a typo.

Seeing as these are still in the sample stage, I can’t confirm a release date but they are slated for a spring 2013 drop. Set with a vibrant mint textile upper + the all too familiar white sole make for a solid shoe…the colour composition reminds me of the Terminator Hi collaboration between Nike x SWAGGER.

After the Twitter competition to win your own pair closed last month, Laika Studios (the film’s creators) are auctioning off eighty pairs over eBay with 70% of the profits going to charity.
Nike are notorious for their intricately designed conceptual projects. While Foamposites aren’t one of my favourite silhouettes, the final design is crazy…wish I won a pair.
