Givenchy | Spring 2013
I can’t propose that I am the biggest fan of Givenchy but I do rate their current artstic direction.
This visual produced by Barney’s reaches into the dark persona of Tisci’s latest pieces to create something that I can honestly say I haven’t seen before. The motion graphics used are exceptional, keeping the pieces in their element while giving them a dark canvas to reflect off.

When it comes to reoccurring collaborations Preme/The North Face are known for their consistency + once again their design te`m haven’t let them down.

As rumoured Preme + CDGS have teamed up once again to deliver what could be argued as 2nd part of their previous capsule collection. Maintaining the collaborative efforts consistency with the recurrence of polka dots but now with the introduction of digi camouflage.

Jordan Brand have stuck with one of my preferred silhouettes for this enigmatic colourway dubbed, Green Glow. Featuring a grey nubuck + plastic upper paired with black mesh + “glow in the dark” accents (outsole, eyelets + tongue) has me anticipating October for it’s release.
But…with a 160€ price point, JB are making many think twice.

Supreme Spring/Summer 2013 Collection
Yesterday was that day of February that many couldn’t miss with the drop of Supreme’s latest seasonal effort.
A solid collection using both complex + Simple all over print on various hats, sweatshirts + jackets alongside quality solid colour pieces…not the most experimental but the quality remains the same if not better from the looks of it so far, Thursday will be primetime!
The collection will drop along with store re-openings on 21st February in London, New York + LA. While Japan will recieve the collection on 23rd February + the online store will reopen on 28th February.

F.C.R.B. are back with another well curated lookbook featuring their upcoming Spring/Summer collection. The Nike conceptual brand utilises the best sporting material technology (Dri-FIT Game Shirts, Storm-FIT Warm Up Jackets + Sweat Ventilation Hoodies) that Nike have to offer alongside very strong intuative yet minimal designs…solid.
All in all, a really dope collection + lookbook. Expect to see pieces from the collection at select Nike retailers soon.
