LOUD TATE - Underworld
Date: 1.10.11 (1st October 2011)
LOUD TATE alongside Rinse FM, Dark Sky & Nedry will be taking over Tate Britain for a day to bring you some quality art, music & performances. There is going to be a lot to do between the 12:00 - 17:00 schedule from screen printing workshops in association with Topman to a poetry takeaway & an urban portrait worskshop. I’ve been before and can definitely say it’s a dope motive, plus the theme is the ‘Underworld’ so expect something a bit dark. The whole day is free throughout but for more information click here to head over to Young Tate’s site.

Vice.com Launch Party

So people over at Vice haven’t been able to get the domain Vice.com due to it being a pornography site for years, but apparently it’s no longer ,thus vice has been able to purchase it. For some reason they decided this was a good excuse to throw a mega party (although I’m not complaining). There will free drinks all night and a great line up to keep you entertained. This will be the biggest party Vice have thrown in 17 years and will be happening in both London and New York. So for a chance to win yourself a pair of tickets to either the NY or LONDON party hit up http://www.vice.com/party , and for those lucky winners we’ll see you there.

The Wall Project

For any artists who visit this space or people who simply appreciate art and the creation of it I’ve got a lil something that you might want to get involved in.

The Wall Project gives an artist the chance transfer their idea from their brains, to their finger & then unto a massive 16.7 x 2.8m wall found inside Rich Mix, Bethnal Green…when you win. The competition is in its 3rd phase the winner’s piece will stay on the wall for 3 months giving the artist an opportunity to showcase their work at such a popular East London venue. So if you’re interested apply here before August 5th (the closing date).

If you have no idea of where to start check LXOne’s attempt at the wall.

Good luck to everyone who enters.
