Yes, it is coming 2 days late but I digress…with this one I didn’t really know what I was doing. Not as planned out as I would have expected but for how much I used to listen to Wale + do now he needed a spot.
This is tense. With the drop of Self Made Vol. 2 only hours old The Untouchable Empire drop the visuals to the opening track off their latest project, while passing the mic to Kendrick Lamar to bless the track with a verse that certifies it. If you haven’t already cop Self Made Vol. 2Here…
Lord knows Wale has been part of my staple list, there’s always been something about his music + artistry that’s so different honed. This freestly didn’t change my mind but it might help some of you change yours, dude’s always been calm to me. Check out his interview up in the Westwood studio…always good to hear an artist think out loud.
First came the audio post but now we’ve got the video, I’ve been waiting for Spitta to drop it ‘cah MTV’s censored version was killing me (N) got a mini ochestral band in the back to make everything come across real suave with these casual visuals…doing what JetLife do best.
Yo this is kinda crazy you know, the instrumental alongside the album art made me feel like I was going to the theatre or some shit haha, but this definitely a good link up wiith both Wale & Curren$y holding it down on their sides. 5th June is the scheduled release of The Stoned Immaculate so get ready for that…
With what I consider to be one of the best cuts off of Ambition, Wale has dropped the visuals the track bearing the exact same name featuring Meek Mill & Rozay. Flashbacks galore in what is one of Dre Films best set of visuals yet.
This video crazy, seriously…the visuals are crisp & it’s all fun you know. Wale & Big Sean linked up with Chris Brown who’s taken the role of director on this to produce something that I can only describe as another visual delight of 2012 that’s without mentioning cameos from J. Cole + Theotis Beasley. Dope
Trae Tha Truth – I’m On ft. MDMA,Lupe Fiasco, Big Boi, Wale & Wiz Khalifa
This track is so mellow and truthful, with the list of features it boasts it’s hard to believe that putting this video together was possible wonder how long it took them to link up. The videos real chill and everyone held their own on it but I have to say Wiz wrapped that shit up nicely.
Wiz is getting back into the motions of dropping video so the visuals to ‘Dessert’, his take of Wale dope cut ‘Bait’ is part of his road to recovery. Directed by Bill Paladino you know everything going to look real crisp…oh and I saw some Nando’s bags so he had to have been in London to film this. Expect his latest mixtape dubbed ‘Taylor Alderdice’ to drop soon. Gang Gang!
Wale smacked it with the visuals to his cut off the insanely sick album ‘Ambition’ featuring the true talent Miguel. Shot in Atlanta Wale hit us with one of those “what if…” videos that worked pretty well & for those not in the know the album is out now so get that here.
After a lil hibernation session from Wiz he drops two new freestyles for everyone who’s been waiting to see what he’s been up to recently. So below we’ve got the dope cuts ‘Dessert’ featuring Wale’s ‘Bait’ instrumental & ‘Rich People’ which features Meek Mill’s ‘House Party’ instrumental. Check ‘em both out below.
MMG are going in this year, ‘Self Made’ was immense + it feels like they are dropping a new video like every month so I guess we just have to admire they’re work rate. Up top though are the visuals to ‘That Way’ off of ‘Self Made’ and they were as slick as expected. Keep your eyes out for Wale’s new album dropping 11.1.11 dubbed ‘Ambition’.
Wale just dropped the visuals to “The Cloud” off of the classic mixtape “More About Nothing”. Anybody who knows me knows that I really do appreciate his musical talent and will give nearly anything he puts out a try at the minimum. The video is relevant and the setting is super chilled, just a couple of the mandem and some chicks vibin’ and zonin’.
