Hopefully you guys peep’d the previous post on Starcow’s rendition of the Reebok Workout for their 25th anniversary, but this time we have a few snaps of London based boutique Foot Patrol’s attempt which if you run it by me was successful indeed. Here are a few words from the people themselves;
“Inspiration for our interpretation of the Reebok Workout 25th anniversary shoe comes essentially from London and its almost perpetual state of grey–the generally dull and cloudy weather and concrete surroundings. This harsh environment that we call home enlightened by the occasional blast of warm sunshine. Heavy brushed suede and creamy gum sole fitting our outlook of taking the rough with the smooth. Our personal workout is all about good times! Friends, food, drink & good music is all we need.”

See I’m not big on Black History Month for the same reasons as Morgan Freeman but Nike have definitely done a good job with their 2012 BHM collection featuring a Destroyer jacket, Blazer Hi, Air Force 1, Air Max 1 & Hauarache Free 2012 amongst others. Using something close to a traditional west african pattern on small detailing to add a bit more to each piece and bringing the pack together as a whole. So if you’re not a fan of BHM like me this might just sway you…haha

In a similar way to how they celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Pump20 Reebok are back on their collaboration game to mark the 25th birthday of the classic Reebok workout. Of all the preview shown so far this mix up with the French boutique Starcow, rockin’ a water resistant grey suede upper resembling them wet Paris streets these kicks are killer. Not sure of when & how they’ll drop but keep it locked for more information.

Nike has marked the launch of the Kobe System via this video and I have to say, as weird as it all seems I am intrigued. If you were wondering here are Nike’s/Kobe’s words on ‘The System’:
“Where do you go from the top? You go over the top. The #KobeSystem: Success for the Successful is Kobe’s winning, results-oriented philosophy on how to adapt to succeed. You’re Welcome.”
I wonder how good the shoes are to ball in…

Nike SB never quit at delivering dopeness & that’s what makes them one of my favourite brands, period. These Janoski mids are manic utilising a nice obsidian premium leather alongside khaki piping on a white vulc sole they hit the nail on the head…forgot to say the metal eyelets and fur lining are a nice seasonal touch so check out your local Nike SB retailer to cop your pair.

Nike SB are holding it down the military inspired front, throwing a timeless camouflage pattern onto 2 of the best selling, most loved models the Dunk Hi & ZM Stefan Janoski. Scheduled for a Fall 2012 release, these are a long time coming so these preview pics should wet your appetite before the detailed pics are released closer to the date.

Adidas smacked it with these, with more of a suave boot-like feel these might appeal more to the fine tuned/high-end fashion dons, The belt that works it’s way from the heel to the top of the sneak gives it that touch of class that works so well. Definitely looking forward to a release date for these…the grey suede’s look so raw.

This spring collection is looking real suave, I have to rate Gourmet for their choice of materials and the sheer quality of all their models which from what I can see continues to be there motive. This drop might just switch up things…

Boy this is actually a madting, the first closer look at the Air Yeezy 2 and from what I can see March 2012 is going to be a hectic month for a few Nike retailers. I’m not going spoil this post with too many words so check out the pics & enjoy…

January 2012 is looking like a real fresh month for Nike SB especially with these two on the roster. Using a couple of Nike SB best selling silhouettes being the Dunk Hi & ZM Stefan Janoski and with both heavily featuring a black suede upper these two are looking like an instant cop.
