This week ScHoolboy Q delivered Habits & Contradictions, TDE’s first drop of the year and if you haven’t checked it out yet it’s manic…take my word for it. Featuring A$AP Rocky and a sample of Lissie’s cover of KiD CuDi’s ‘Pursuit Of Happiness’ this track slaps, which results in about 5 or 6 wheelups on my iTunes. So if you haven’t got it already cop your copy of HnC HERE. I’m guessing Ab-Soul is next one up on the TDE roster to bless up with a new project…anticipating that.

Never ever say that CuDi fell off, my dude has been dope from day & ‘Maniac’ has always been legit in my eyes so I’m glad he finally decided to drop the video for it. Directed by Shia LeBeouf it follows two serial killers…you know what I’m not going to spoil it, just check it out for yourself.

KiD CuDi came on real cinematic with the visuals to “Mr. Rager”, it just had that movie feel…like I should be maxx’d out in Odeon watching it. Directed by Jeremie Rozan it has that real dark feel & some of the shorts took me back to Mad Max so props to Rozan, he really did out do himself on this.

Franophonik & Rock en Siene

We were just hit up with information on this service originating from France which offer information on the latest on French music, gigs over there as well as here in the UK. They are also offering competitions to win tickets to various festivals out in France, such as their latest comp which is for in conjunction with the Eurolines travel company for tickets to the Rock en Seine Festival which is around 10km from Paris. Dates for this are from the 28th to the 28th of August and have an array of artists & genres on show, from the likes of The Foo fighters & Arctic monkeys to OFWGKTA, Q-tip , Kid Cudi, Tinie Tempah and Lykke Li (who I’ve really been wanting to see live since her Rick Ross “Hustling” cover )

So people be sure to check the Facebook fan page and like it so you can apply for the competition, all you have to do is tick a box and in return you get a free trip to France this Summer and entry to a festival with some dope music & a great atmosphere.

If you’re ever going to France or thinking of going,make sure to check Francophonik out because as well as music they give free information on the country’s hot spots & some cool places to hit up from various interests, such as art, partying, sports and even information on places to stay. If you’re still interested in going & aren’t lucky enough to win tickets to the whole festival, you can purchase tickets to each day on the Rock en Seine website, as per usual each day in a festival has a different line up so if you want to see a specific artist make sure you check what day they are performing, I recommend the Friday 26th as Odd Future & Kid Cudi are on that day for you hip-hop heads (or Q-tip on the Saturday)
